Lack of workers. A restaurant I frequent has had to close a few times in the last few weeks for the same reason.
Sign of current times. When the government pays people not to work you create a lazy work force waiting for the next payout. Don't fret the cream will rise to the top and hard working people in this field will benefit monetarily and so will the customer.
