Can't say for sure, but I think its from the fences that are being put in across the street. Might have hit the gas lines to the manufacturing plant down the street. The fire department/police cars seemed to be looking for the source. If it were Denny's I'm pretty sure someone would have called 911 to tell them where to go.
Not sure but for that place to be closed down wouldn't be a bad thing.. They are so dirty and the employees I have dealt with at least in the late night are horrendous along with the food.. Waited reeked of alcohol and the manager was spun out!! Could tell the griddle was dirty due to the black burnt pieces of on the pancakes..and had and always have to send the food and comes back still wrong but as far as the gas smell could be from the customers who ate there
