Dear Sirs , I was wondering why not too many trainers from the Midwest are in the Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame ? There are many who have been overlooked . Trainers such as Jere Smith Sr. , Richard Hazelton ,Enoch Rea , Merrill Scherer .
