Yes! Bring water and/or a bowl for your pet though. Make sure they are leashed as you never know who is out there with other dogs or a horse etc...
Leashing your dog is actually required by the park rangers. Make sure you clean up any mess your dog leaves!
Yes. I take my dog there often. Since there are other hikers and dogs on the trails, you will want to leash your dog. There are no water spigots so pack some water for yourself and the dog to stay hydrated in this heat.
