Since you are a Florida State Agency for Driver's Licenses, and the State website says that I can visit any office in the state, am I required to show proof of my residence in Flagler County before I can be served?

I checked FLHSMV Website, which allowed it, called the FLHSMV CS number which allowed it, Texted FLHSMV FaceBook Messenger that said yes. Was told 64 out of the 67 are in county tx offices who are paid agents under contract to do DL&MV work for people of the state.YOUR site 2wks ago had a question about getting DL Reinstatement. You said yes but never said Flagler only. Why? He couldn't wait 8 days for the next appt. We drove up there to get his DL back, only to be told he had to live there. I'm going to contact the FL State Inspector Generals office to find the correct answer or fix the mass misinformation that exists to upset, frustrate and inconvenience the residents of Florida, except for those who live in Flagler County.

Unfortunately, the short answer is yes. With the exception of Concealed Weapons Applications, in an effort to comply with COVID-19 protocols and limit exposure to the staff of the Tax Collector's Office, we are only serving Flagler County residents for all Driver License related transactions until further notice. Most Counties in the State have implemented these same procedures. Please continue to monitor our website (https://www.flaglertax.com) for updates.
