Mostly around holiday and some have a everyday sale. You just have to catch the sales.
Sunday paper works for me, but the one of a kind stores kinda got to be on there mailing list
I normally call them and just go online to the website or Google or do RetailMeNot that's a coupon site and a sale site it tells you everything about from Amazon to Zales jewelry store

Most all have big Black Friday sales as well as major holiday sales. Depending on your age, you can get discounts on certain "Seniors Day sales at various store's. Ex: 1st Tuesday of each month is Seniors Day at Belk, 20% off for age 55 and over. Best bet is to check individual store's or buy the Sunday newspaper. Checking on-line will get you a lot of advertisements in your email box.
