We really enjoyed Stone Ridge Tavern, just a couple of miles north of the lodge on Brevard. Great burgers and steaks.
131 Main in Biltmore Park is only 3 miles away. They define themselves as "Refined New American dishes served along with wines & spirits in a polished-casual setting." We enjoying eating there and everyone gives it good reviews for food and service. There are several other choices in Biltmore Park as well.
