To transfer a title, the seller must complete the sales information on the title and sign as seller. All purchasers will need to be present to sign when applying for the new Florida title and show their driver license, state issued ID or current passport. If you are purchasing a license plate or transferring a current Florida license plate, you will need current proof of Florida insurance. If an out of state title, a VIN verification will also need to be completed, either at one of our offices or the form can be completed by a law enforcement officer or a Florida notary.
Just get the title signed by the owner but in the front write the price that you bought it for but you have to have car insurance that will the first step then go to the DMV
