3 repairs for the same issue even if fixed by voluntary recall can fall under lemon law. I would start the process of that now as there are time limits. Lemon law would require Ford to purchase the car back from you at the price you paid regardless of current value. The title is then branded as a lemon vehicle. Starting the process with a legitimate lemon case gives you incredible leverage as manufacturers will go to great lengths to avoid buying a car back, being saddled with a branded title car and take a hit on reliability reports.
This is not considered a "recall"
I had my transmission recall repair there and haven't had any problems.
Yes try a different dealership. We had great success with Brandon Ford. I would keep trying and demand to speak with higher ups. Recalls need to be fixed. Its the law. Its also unsafe. I would keep going back and would show my ass if I had too 😬
Get second opinions, then go to the better business bureau if the refuse to react once they see you mean business. Chances are a recalled clutch could have caused other internal issues that may not be covered by the dealership themselves. On a recall, they can only fix the part that is deemed factory fault. Best bet is to go with aftermarket clutch then if the factory is not up to par
Report it to Federal Consumer Affairs. You may be able to get Ford to buy back your vehicle.
Try a different dealership
