The menu changes daily. They do make plantains, Carne Asada as well as a few other dishes that are gluten free. I advise calling ahead to find out what she's making the day you want to go.
The empanadas are not gluten free but they have other specialty dishes that are probably gluten free depending on the daily specials. I'd recommend calling ahead if you're on a special diet or have food allergies. It is a drive but so worth it! You can order some to go and they warm back up nicely in the oven.
