It depends on the screen. The ones closest to the entrance are harder to see. But it has to do with the the lights that surround the drive in. As well as people not turning their lights off.

The early night movies before 10pm can be a bit dark but honestly most movies these days are way too dark.
Me and my lady noticed it too. Poor lighting and old projectors is what I was thinking was the problem
I so agree with that observation I love the drive in but wish it was in a better location
Yes I agree and it is probably because most people have good HD TV @ home
It does really affect the lighting of the other vehicles, specially the ones exiting from the theater and the ones from the freeway since it is right next to the theater.
