The riding test IS the skills test. You won't be required to take the skills test, but you are required to take the written test.

GREG SEMMLER | Sep 5, 2018

You still need to take the skills test but you don't need to do the riding course the course gets you your M1 endorsement

Avin Goodwin | Sep 5, 2018

Yes, it does. Drive safe

Zac Soares | Sep 5, 2018

Yes it does, all you need after the class is to take the multiple choice test. I should add that you will be a better rider for taking it also

Kai Rosebushes | Sep 5, 2018

Yes it will. All motorcycle riding schools have to be licensed with the DMV, so if their license is valid the DMV drive test will be waived if you pass. You need the official certificate which is mailed, not the one they give you on the last day. So don't take that to DMV unless you want to get laughed at.

Yes it does. I just took the school recently. They have a test themselves at the school that you need to pass and when you do you get a form that endorses you for your M1. Then as Jim said only writing test needed.

Jay Thomas | Sep 5, 2018

Yes! Only need to do the written test

Jenni Malcomb | Sep 5, 2018

You will have to check with DMV of California.
