Are there any restaurants/bars in the immediate area to go to prior to concerts? Are there vendors outside the forum prior to concerts? Reading all the reviews I'm wondering if the area is safe to walk around? Thank you for any help.

Well I wouldn't advise walking around the Forum but yes there are good places to eat in the area and there are some vendors in the parking lot

Its as safe as its going to be.

There are a couple bars and vendors right outside the forum and also inside the forum. You can also get hot dogs, fries, and other fast food inside, although they are all very expensive. Last time there was a Mexican place outside so I got quesadillas. They are all right near the entrance so you will not have to walk much.

Roscoe's is near by

It's mostly a residential area with a very limited zone for restaurants/bars due to the fact that everything was demoed for the New Stadium but a MIle away you have Hollywood Park Casino which has a couple of bars and restaurants, and a shopping center with fast food restaurants and a couple of casual ones like Red lobster -chillis
