If you don't want to check the wheelchair in or it's absolutely necessary to stay seated in it, you can ask to purchase seating that is wheelchair accessible. We did it for a hockey game with a paraplegic friend and I preferred the seating area we were in. It was high up and you could see the entire rink and it was much warmer up on the 3rd lvl balcony area.
