You have to pay to use the water park, you can park outside the area or pay for the daily rate to park right by the entrance. But it's not included if you're going camping. It is at Casitas, Castaic is off the 5 freeway.
Also after 3pm you pay half the water park fee instead of full price. Plenty of day picnic areas or overnight camping sites.
You pay $10 during the week, $20 weekends for parking/park access, then purchase access to the water area.
Glad everyone is finding out what a great place to camp family style, incredible people rangers and all you can enjoy in one place fishing, camping( tent or R V). Plus the wildlife plus picnic and water park. When you come in the first thing if still there is a mud nest full of baby sparrows. Beautiful. It us also a very nice place to store your R.V. when not in use. Nice security rangers are in incredible.
