You will need to make an appointment to come in to get it changed. You can make an appointment at https://iowadot.gov/service-selector. You may also be eligible to change it at a kiosk. To see the eligibility requirements and the locations of the kiosks, go to https://iowadot.gov/mvd/kiosks. You do not need an appointment to use a kiosk.
