Agree. I went to Daiso quiet often but never seen them selling special hat outside Santa Claus hat and witch hat for Halloween. They might have it when they put their Halloween merchandise up.
Their stock can be somewhat unpredictable in their seasonal products, but I wouldn't expect them to have something like that. They certainly didn't when I was in there about a week ago. There's a surplus store on Stevens Creek in San Jose that usually has actual sailor hats, both Dixie cups and captain's hats. Pretty sure it's Stevens Creek Surplus.
