If you're going to test something that's fast you definitely don't want to do it on a cold track at night anyways
Thursday has in the past been a test and tune day. If at all may have a couple of runs so that people can get a better idea of what their efforts have produced. Most of the time Saturday maybe Sunday are scheduled Race Days. Mooresville Drag Strip is now owned by a racer and understands more of what is necessary for the racing community
Usually pretty good. I prefer the left lane , seems like it hooks a little better.
Yes sir we prep to keep everyone safe. For street car tires we put a cone out for them to go around. Street tires tears up the groove and makes it unsafe for motorcycles. Slicks and drag radials puts rubber down and that combined with prep makes that extra sticky. Also, when street cars have ran in the groove we have seen them hook so hard it tears their rear-ends, u-joints etc.
