No kidding about the cashiers talking to other employees or their friends. I love the one in Waynesboro Ga and the one on Bobby Jones exp. They have very good customer service and the most helpful I have ever seen. The absolute worst is Dean's Bridge rd. I had a cashier wait until I had unloaded a full cart of stuff and then she turned her light off and said she was closed. So I had another cashier call the manager and the manager told her to ring me on out. So when she went to give me back my change she held it up like she was going to put it in my hand and just dropped the dollars and change all over the conveyor belt. Everyone standing around was in disbelief. The cashier nearby called the manager again but the cashier disappeared before she arrived. The manager said it would be taken care but the cashier was right back working there again the next week. This is the reason I go out of my way to go to the Waynesboro Ga or the Bobby Jones store. I dont know much about Wrightsboro rd
Self checkout is a gimmick if I'm forced to use self checkout I should get an employee discount
Yes always only one line even al doing the day the last time i was in this store thay had few bags to put my things in and the casher ash did i need her to put glass items in a bag i then ask her what did she want me to carry them out she then said well i just asked in a Curt tone i will start going to anther Wal Mart thank you
Wal-Mart is committed to keeping prices down, and that includes having as few employees available as reasonably practicable. The self checkout helps with that.

Google, what is my question? I see only 2 gripes. I don't have a gripe, as we usually use self-checkout and we're in an out in a flash (unless computer hangs up and we need the Help button). We shop several Walmarts in Augusta and have Never seen only one register open! (If we did, we'd probably switch stores! :-) )
I agree 100%.thomson Wal-Mart is bad about having only one register open...yesterday I walked by one associate talking on the phone
