Chico Theater Company is a great place to learn acting, singing & dancing in a professional setting...I started there years ago and then went to Hollywood for years and worked there...Chico is my home and CTC is my favorite playground!
My granddaughter was in a play there. She had to pay about $250.00 or more. She learned four songs and was on stage just four times with about 20 other children singing. No acting involved. She was 7. Maybe for older kids it might be better. You can audition and get a part. I heard that is better
Oh... I'm 11 so I wanted to know since I really want to start acting but my mom wants me to get experience before spending money on summer camp
They also host the annual "Shortz Film Festival." My boyfriend's short film was accepted and we drove down from Portland last summer. It's a really cute venue. Lots of old movie memorabilia as decorations.
It's a Performing Arts Center. (Theater) They do plays of all kinds. I truly enjoy them.
