Certainly a great place to start. Break a leg!
As Lisa said, there aren't lessons, but you will learn a ton from your fellow actors just being in a show. Start with a minor role (ensemble) and grow from there.
There are no lessons in community theater. But the experience is awesome to learn how to dance and sing while being in a show. I would recommend taking voice lessons
