Has Slades been known by other name and if it was what years was it. Thank you in advance.

Slades has alway been just that, Sladesij. It has been in business since the 1930s. It why it so small...business that far back in history and own by minority were not knot known to be very big. Bars in general, given how drinking had been frown upon and at one point, illegal have alway been on the small size. Slades has alway been under the name of Slades.

I had to ask my mom just to make sure . No slades has been around long before the 70's when my grandmother was alive when we lived in the south end. No name changed..The only thing that was changed was the hands of ownership/management of slades.
