Not sure why your wait was so long. We eat there often and we have never had way more than 20 minutes and that was on a weekend.
Been in Irving 38 years, Denny's on Esters and 183 has not been remodel maybe exterminate. It was a slow weekday and took over an hour and 20 min. To order. Witness two hugh roaches all over tables. Good luck.
Our family's been going to this Denny's for many years. It's very busy on weekends and it was just remodeled. Food is great and served as quickly as your order is taken and prepared. This is an eat in restraurant but if one desires "fast" food one should go to a drive up. Also, food takes longer to be cooked than to be eaten
Proper training is severly lacking at most restaurants lately. Servers are a dime a dozen so to speak. So companies dont spend time or resources to properly train them anymore. The ones that stick around are usually bumped up to managers eventually and still do not receive proper training. So the cycle continues.
