Deidre when I asked the girl at the window why the price wasn't 5.00 she told me I guess it's to make up for the raise we just got. All I could do was SMH.
Yeah it did change, cuz it use to be $5, but when you added the tax it came to $5.50. But that was. before, like when they first started that. Then they basically snuck one in on people, thinking that no one would notice. Quite a few didn't notice, but some did. But not even right away did the few that did notice, pay attention when it first happen despite always ordering the same thing when they went there. Some didn't even notice until after someone else said something. Also that's not the only one that did it oh, there were others, a few others that did it as well. Their reason was that it was promotional in the beginning and that if you paid close attention to it, you would see it said at participating KFC's after the promotion had been going on for a while. Some KFC's are individually owned, at first when the promo started, they lowered the price of supplies, but after a while they went up on the price of supplies to the individually own, so we had to go up on prices to make up.
I have to go down & see that because Ive been their & bought a $5 box for my daughter their abt a month ago not unless they just changed it recently the one in Emeryville has the $5 boxes because my son gets them all the time
Because thats the advertised price before state taxes
