If you’re in the process of registering a vehicle you just got and lost the title, what can be done in order to continue/finish the process?

You have to go back to the person you bought it from and have them order a new title. It will cost $20 and come in the mail to them in 3-5 days.

I think you can request a duplicate copy and most likely use the receipt for the new title to register the vehicle
