First I would like to thank all of our clients for the answers you gave. Give yourselves a A+. It is always best to bring your animal to the vet as soon as you see the signs something is wrong. Diagnosing a problem early give the patient the best chance for a early recovery of the problem. Thank you Katrina
They can fix
My cat had the same issues a few months ago, they prescribed antibiotic and she was fine in a couple of days.. Probably allergies or a cold
Since its Sunday, You could try warm washcloth held gently to her eye... for 5 to 10 minutes every hour or so. Make sure its not too hot... test it behind your ear first, so you don't hurt/ burn your cat. I suggest holding catnip as well... to calm the cat If it doesn't improve, I'd take her in to be seen. The vets here are amazing, and will assess your cat's situation, to determine the best course of treatment.
She will probably need some antibiotics.
It is always a good idea to have her checked out by the vet - especially if she is a kitten or if she is not eating, but I have had excellent results adding L-Lysine to my kitties food to help them through upper respiratory infections. You can purchase Tomlyn Immune Support through Chewy.
