If I were to enter the facility at 8:50 and try leaving at 9:30 would I be able to get out, I think I know the answer to this I just want to make sure as I work late hours and is hard to get to the unit without using up my lunch break

You can get out but they can put you on office hours only for not following gate times. All codes are tracked

This all changed with the new gate system. If you are on the property after 9:00PM you will be locked in, and will need to call the local police dept to be let off the property. The police will then call the Public Storage Property and advise who was on the property after hours. 1st offense; call from property advising you to not do this again, 2nd offense, your unit will be overlocked, you will be limited access to property office hours only, and will receive a phone call from a company District Manager who will advise you that; 3rd offense, you will be evicted from the unit, and 'black listed' from renting at Public Storage anywhere.
