No license needed. when I first moved down here a year ago didn't know of anything to do that wasn't too expensive till we found the pier, caught a variety of fish also have seen dolphins many times come close while feeding

No, I don't believe so. There's a notice posted as such, right at Hart's Landing which is a bait shop and little dock at the foot of the pier.

No license required on the pier. Make sure you stay on the pier when fishing., Otherwise you may be approached by FWC.
