Not sure why nobody mentioned that there is a parking garage connected to grand central market. It's right past the entrance to the market on hill. It's $3 for the first 90 minutes and 2$ per 15 minutes after that. For most people this should be plenty of time to head in walk around and get some food.
If you're going to visit Grand Central Market the best place to park is at home.. I suggest you use either Uber or some kind of public transportation to get to downtown that way you won't have to deal with all the traffic and looking for parking.. I live in Montebello and I just take one bus to downtown and it drops me off right in front of angels flight right across the street from Grand Central Market..
Where the hell did you get $10 an hour? You are tripping. All parking lots around downtown are flat rates. $10-15 maxium. Not hourly.
There are a couple of parking lots nearby but are really expensive about $10 per hour if you are lucky you might be able to find street parking two or three blocks from the market
Just back from grand central market... As Adam says, there is a parking there... 3 dollars for the first 90 minutes... Good deal if you don't stay too long...
Take Metro
By public transportation it's cheaper, and there's a good choice of buses and metro link
There is street parking. It was not hard to find when we went (thursday afternoon). I think it was 1 dollar per hour.
There is a parking garage next to the market. It is $4 for the first 90 minutes and $2 for each additional 15 minutes.
Nope. Nowhere near a free park in downtown but you responsible pays for car park on your own risk but if you forgot repays park and traffic officers will tickets or towed away!!
All expensive lots tbh but if you arive before 10 right next door its 10bucks
Not much parking for cheap.
The upper floors of the same building are all parking lots.
