Sometimes people in your area may know someone looking to buy their RV or Van. Check with churches and ask maybe someone in their congregation might have one or know someone who is no longer driving. Also if and when you are riding around in your town and see an RV or Van be courageous and inquire. It can't hurt anything but your pride. People say No alot, but they may know of someone who will say yes! Older couples who no longer travel may be interested in helping you. Ask and be pleasant. It works for me as well as being hopeful. 😀
Look into caljobs. They will work with you to get on your feet. They help you obtain employment, a place to live, financially aid you with move in funds, plus various other opportunities and programs that you would probably not be aware of otherwise. Hopefully you are capable of and willing to do your part to get back on your feet, if thats the case, that program will help you achieve that. Good luck to you and may God Bless You.
I was homeless for a year. I used GoFundMe. Money came in slowly over several months. I used Craigslist to find a vehicle. I was in CA for all my life. I moved to NM where rent is cheaper. Now I rent a room in a nice house. Good luck.
