Their prices are on par with good bbq. Throw a 5 in that tip jar because they are working in a hot kitchen, in 90 degree heat.
Countless places have a tip jar out with covid going on. Hours cut, less help...tips matter. However, you are not forced to do so.
I've never had my order held for ransome insisting I fork out a tip prior to its release. And if you think the prices are that high, maybe you should stick with the dollar menu at McDonalds. Although they often skimp on the napkins also. I've always found The Shack to have great food at pretty reasonable prices.
