We've had people come back with bushels and some come back with none. Comes down to luck at times. Make sure you take some beer with you and just have a good time!
The crabbing is the best in August, so good choice for that point in time to go down. Also, you can dock a boat as long as you are at the campsite, when you leave you must pull it up out of the dock.
I'm not sure about the crabbing. But there are waterfront sites that have a view of the dock where the boats are kept.
