Order mixups and less than par service happens at the best of restaurants. I've consistently had good food and good service at Los Pericos (near Southland mall). The ladies at the cashier dont always smile but that's not an issue for me (quality of food, cleanliness, speed and price are my main criteria for a lunch place). In my experience, LP has always been accommodating and they bus your table and don't request tips (on the bill). Plus their prices are more than reasonable.
Maybe your visit was when they were busy and maybe got your order mixed up with another customer, however my experience is very different: I've been going there for years during lunchtime with several of my coworkers and we have never had bad service and, in an exceptionally rare occasion, we get a mixed up order.
I never had bad service nor a mix up in my order. Hopefully there is a next time. I usually give a restaurant a second chance to redeem themselves!
