My wife and daughter are flying to Europe on business class, leaving SFO but changing planes in PHL. Will they have access to the Admiral's club in SFO? To be clear, they are flying American on both legs.

Maybe you should ask the airline directly. They should give you access for traveling in bussiness class

American only allows Admirals and Flagship access to/from South America and Mexico on business class, not to Europe. BA does not honor American unless on First Class international.
