I have a plane ticket from Paris to Las Vegas. Once in Vegas I was thinking to go by bus to Los Angeles, rent a car and drop it after a week at Las Vegas where I have my return flight. Can I rent this car using a debit card? Thanks

Rental companies usually ask for credit cards as they block money on the card to cover them if there is any charges from accidents or damage which cannot be easily done using a debit card.
