I still have to do my 4 hrs. Of community service and today was its due date. Is there another way I can still be able to take care of this matter without making it worse?

Do not make a poor situation worse. Appear in court, even if your late. Talk to a public defender, if you qualify. In any event, apologize to the judge, and ask for additional time to do the four hours. If you, for any reason, fail to appear in court, a bench warrant may be issued for your arrest. So get to court right away and take care of the situation before the police get involved.
