Do I need to notify someone or reserve a table for a get-together day? I would just put a table cloth, have cake and juice for my daughter and couple of her friends. Thanks

Most of the time it seems when a picnic table is under a shelter you need to contact the town, county, or state park Dept about reserving the spot. When it's in the open its first come first serve.

Possibly just the township or whoever owns the park so that you can actually reserve it. I'm not positive on this but I think that's the way it normally goes.
