Hi. I have a quarter that is dated years 1776-1976. Back has a man playing drums. I’ve seen videos and pictures saying it valued at certain prices but wanted to check before going in. Could you help?

Hi Kimberly, That’s a bicentennial quarter. They make them in silver and non-silver. Look at the edge of the coin, if it’s two toned then it’s not silver and the value is $0.25. If it is a solid silver color and there’s an “s” mint mark behind Washington’s hair, then it’s 40% silver and worth a few dollars.

I pretty sure I have the “s”. I’ll will go in today. If you could check it?
