Agree with the other poster. The convention center is a good landing spot. Even taking a taxi to Seaport Village, right by the convention center) and hanging out along the shoreline and downtown area. Taxi will be around $15 and takes about 10 minutes from the airport.
Depends on what time your flight gets in. If it's day time than I would go to convention center area and walk along the bike path. You get to see some pretty cool stuff. Its about 5 to 10 minutes drive if your okay with that. If you don't want to go that far I would just recommend staying at your hotel and wait for your husband. Not much around the airport within walking distance. If your coming at night than go to 5th avenue downtown and check out a good restaurant. A lot of bars and clubs downtown. I'm sure that's not gonna happen so like I said just stay at the hotel. Its probably your best bet abd wait for your husband plus you can relax and take a nap.
