When you buy real gold there is usually a stamp stating what karat of gold, such as 10K or 14K, on the clasp of a necklace or bracelet and on the inner band of a ring. At our swap meet our gold vendors will be happy to test the gold for you right at their counter. They will also test gold for you from an outside source.
