Last time we visited we had a tour led by a lady who dressed nicely. The lady gave lots of story telling about the house, house owners, and things. I didn't think you could walk around on your own.
The teas I have attended have been $50. The seating is very limited and sells out quickly. People do usually dress nicely, but I do not believe that there is a dress code.
