The Apple store always maintains a steady stream of customers and when you consider that almost all purchases made there are going to be of a considerable cost, the proper, ultra accomodating care must be afforded to each and every client In addition to being expensive, many of these items are somewhat sophisticated and therefore customers may require the experience and knowledge of several staff members.

Because Apple chose to have techs on hand to fix every complicated issue. When I'm fact the complicated issues could be outsourced to a mail in situation or drop off and couriered to a local service center and returned. This would make it not that busy then. But the marketing tactic is make Apple seem so popular by getting everyone to wait 2 hours behind a bunch of people. They get every tech tied up with unsolvable problems which we then get to look at new options as we wait. They are like a car dealership here trying to sell a new car. In fact if they really really cared about service theyd have a large service center somewhere near, then you'd drop off at an apple store at 10 and pickup at 5. There courier the phones to the center at 1030 and return at 430. Instead let's make everyone wait because we don't care about there time and especially if they may spend money

It's apple.

Because the apple store is always crowded so you gotta set appointments over the phone if you don't want to wait
