Does the bakery have to have day before notice for a cake made to order even if it’s a little small round cake?

I would say yes. Always try to give a heads up. But it doesnt hurt to call

Normally yes. You need to put in a order to have it made. If they don't have a lot of orders they maybe able to make one the same day.

I believe you have to put in an order a few days prior, but you can call and ask to be transferred to the bakery dept.

If you order it in the morning you should be fine. If it doesn't matter what the cake is but you need it to say something special they can do that fairly quickly if the bakery is open.
