The appealing thing to the place is it's intimacy which in return warrants a reservation. Small side note, I try to reserve wherever I go whenever possible because then you're expected and normally receive more attention. Of course you need to stick to it but it's worked for me so far. Rue Lepic is one of my favorites
Strongly suggest for Friday and Saturday evenings. We had reservations for 6pm on a Friday evening, arrived, the place was empty... but soon filled up.
Yes but they will do their best to seat you anyway but it is small and intimate
