No they have all gone home
No the area is beautiful and i didn't see any ghost. However, the food at the Croaker spot was delicious and the service was outstanding.
My dad's law office (now Central Va Legal Aid) was built in 1816 & his secretaries would always get scared when they were alone at the office on the 1st floor bc they heard noises coming from the vacant 2nd & 3rd floors such as footsteps and chains clanking. The building is on Sycamore Street about a half mile from Croaker Spot. Many of the buildings in Old Towne were used as makeshift hospitals and hideouts during the Civil War, & I would not be surprised if some of the spirits from soldiers who died in the area have wandered into some of the buildings present nowdays. I personally saw the Grey Ghost riding his horse east on Flank Road near the nursing home at about 3 a.m. I eased across the center line so as not to hit him, but when I looked in my rearview mirrors he was gone.
Yes
Actually the are is located om Wagner Rd where the curve is before you get to the railroad tracks, the croaker spot is the opposite way located off Sycamore st.
" I ain't fraud of no ghost!"
I have never heard that rumor before. Plus I don't believe in things like that. Sorry can't help you.
There is no rational basis for the existence of spirits; disembodied or otherwise.
I have never heard of such.
My friend said he saw the ghosts of Confederate soldiers marching away from the old station. Is that area known to be haunted?
