Yes, the sites are currently free. There is a pit toilet (outhouse) but no running water. The creek nearby usually runs dry in the summer. I would not be surprised if the sites become fee-based soon, however, as the federal agencies are under serious budgetary shortfalls and there are some services there. It's a nice campsite just off the freeway. The gravel into the campground is not very good so watch your tires.
Yes and the 4 spots each have a picnic table and fire ring . But if they are full there are plenty of areas near it with areas to camp with out the tables, ring ,or toilet but close to it
