Boston common has alot of green space but doesn't have as much scenery as the Public Garden. The Public Garden has big enough green space to host groups of poeple and the scenery (waterbody, garden flowers with some monuments) is just so beautiful.

You can do the commons and the gardens. They are right across the street from one another. Go on the swan boat ride in the gardens.. the statue of the angel is also there.

Boston Common is best to spend as a group. The public garden is just across Charles St.

Honestly all the parks are great but I say Boston common because there are vendors too
