I just got back yesterday, a few (like 4) trees had started to turn red, a few more weeks and it should be prime
I'd wait a few weeks. It was all green last weekend
Trees outside the city are turning colors all over. Many maples are now orange, red, etc. The gardens will be in transition next few weeks.
