If you’re leaving from Woburn, you buy them in the station before you board the bus. If you’re leaving from Logan you get on the bus and pay when you arrive at Woburn. Per their website “For trips originating at Logan Airport tickets are purchased on board the bus upon arrival at the Logan Express site.”
