I would second Timothy Corum on upscale but would say dress to your nice comfort you will be fine
We were jeans but with a nice shirt/sweater. It is mountain casual - saw some sport coats but no ties.
I think that the answer would be yes. Just a very nice place to enjoy a meal that is truly second to none. By far the best restaurant in the High Country when it comes to service and consistency of the best filet mignon that truly melts in your mouth. My idea of a dress code is Jeans and a nice polo or button down with a sports jacket. I love the "Mountain Casual" saying.
I went in shorts and a t-shirt, pretty sure I was the only one with a ball cap on and felt a little out of place but they made me feel welcome and at home, they def2did not discriminate me because I was not dressed up at all lol
You will be welcomed with jeans and sweater...mountain casual for sure. The Best Cellar is an excellent restaurant in the High Country. The hospitality of the manager and the waitstaff is outstanding...they make folks feel valued and at home. The atmosphere is casual mountain elegance and warmth. Dinner at The Best Cellar is always a treasured evening.
